About our Professional Development Seminars

We know our business owners and managers are most often too busy to get away for an all-day seminar to help them be better prepared to protect, manage, or grow their business. The Chamber’s Professional Development Seminars are an alternative to spending valuable time and money on professional development.

Several times a year, the Chamber holds seminars on topics ranging from information on the Affordable Health Care Act to effective and inexpensive marketing tactics to recent tax code changes. Each of these seminars is free for Chamber Members and offered at 3:30pm on the advertised day.

Presenters each month are experts on the subject providing free consultation to Chamber members on the identified topic. We have been fortunate to have experts such as Ron Rowe, Vice President of Small Group Markets for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, Tom Waters, owner of Corporate Copyprint, and Cindy Case-Harmon, a Principal at Fears Case-Harmon & Associates, present at previous seminars.
