Celebrate your new business, expansion, renovation, or milestone with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Independence Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber provides the ribbon, giant scissors, sound system, event signage, a framed Ribbon Cutting Certificate, and event photos that will be shared on our social media channels.
Ribbon Cuttings may be scheduled during Chamber business hours and must be requested at least two weeks in advance to allow for planning and promotion.
The details of your event are entirely up to you. Whether you choose to host a simple gathering or a larger celebration with food and refreshments, your Ribbon Cutting can be tailored to fit your vision and budget.
Please Note: The Chamber cannot guarantee attendance at your event. Ribbon Cuttings cannot be scheduled during a Chamber event, and events held during standard business hours typically receive the best attendance. Please review our upcoming events calendar before submitting your request.
